Hi visitor!
My name is Alice, and I am the brain and creator behind Sardelli Web.
After working for five consecutive years in digital marketing and copywriting, I decided to deep-dive into web development during my two maternity leaves.
While changing diapers (yes, I’ve just said that!), I designed and built websites, wrote on my blog about frontend development, and had fun while creating a few GitHub repos. Today, what used to be a hobby become my job.
I love designing clean and captivating web interfaces and in general everything that is related to web development.
Why the name
“Sardelli Web”?
“Sardelli Web” was born after a funny word game inspired by my first name “Alice” and how it gets translated into Finnish (as Finland is the country I currently live in).
I was born and raised in Italy before moving to Finland seven years ago. My name “Alice” in Italian is also a synonym for “acciuga” which in English means “anchovy” (“sardelli” in Finnish”). So there you have it, a word play that includes my Italian name translated into Finnish!
